I was invited to the VIP/Media event held last May 6, 2014. The program started a bit late so I was able to check out the venue and took some photos. I was also able to get a glimpse of what was in store for us.

The mini booklet had all the straps, soles and pins selection. Behind us was a "roleta" where you can mix and match all three items so you can have an idea of what your customized pair would look like.

How to Make Your Own Havaianas:
1. Choose the soles and straps you wish to mix and match
2. Select your pins to express your style
3. Approach an assembler to MYOH on the spot (there's Single lane and Multiple lane)
4. Head to the cashier to purchase your exclusive creation*
5. Claim your complimentary Havaianas bag

Only adult sizes are available. Soles offered are Top, Slim and the MYOH Commemorative Pair. Straps offered are Top, Top Metallic, and Slim. Price starts at PhP 895. Commemorative pair is at PhP 995.

Price of pin varies from PhP 100 to PhP 150. Available sizes are 33/34 up to 39/40 (Brazilian Size). Each customer is allowed to purchase a maximum of five (5) pairs per day. All are subject to availability.
*Cash and credit cards are accepted. Citibank cardholders are entitled to a 10% discount and have the option to Pay Litel (3 months, 0% interest) or pay with points.

You have until May 11 to make your very own Havaianas Commemorative Pair. It is inspired by a 200-year old tradition from Brazil. It features colorful Bonfim wish ribbons that are worn for good luck.
