Max's Fried Chicken | Restaruant Review

Happy Independence Day!

I am saving this entry for today because Max's Restaurant- the house that fried chicken built is a homegrown brand.

Max's condiments- Hot Sauce, Worcestershire Sauce and Banana Ketchup

DH and I used to dine at Max's a lot before we transferred our office to its new location. It was the only decent restaurant in that area. Anyway, Max's appeal never fails me. I still crave for its sarap to the bone fried chicken, anytime, anywhere. Thank goodness it has several branches in the metro.

The following photos that you will see was taken from two separate days...

Chicken Dinner PhP 265

Seen at the background of the photo is kamote which I love to dip in its banana ketchup.

upgrade complimentary drink to bottomless sago add PhP 30

A single serving of Sago't Gulaman cost PhP 59 while a bottomless one is PhP 89.

Soup of the Day

Chicken Dinner includes most of Max's must-try food like its regular fried chicken with soup of the day (Tinolang Manok), a choice of plain rice or rolls. It also comes with a glass of Pepsi and a single scoop of ice cream.

Max's Tocino PhP 159

all day breakfast served with complimentary coffee

Dad normally orders Tocino. It is a good thing that it comes with a cup of coffee because my mom is a coffee junkie ; p

Lumpiang Shanghai PhP 145

Lumpiang Shanghai was totally not appealing so I will skip this one on my next visit.  Tastewise, not so good at all.

Chicken BBQ Meal PhP 218

The week after we went back to Max's and we tried its Chicken Barbeque Meal for PhP 199. PhP 19 was added to upgrade to Java rice. Let's just say, Max's should stick with its fried chicken.

Budget Meal PhP 195

A budget meal includes a quarter of Max's signature fried chicken, a choice of steamed rice of rols, macaroni side salad, a glass of Pepsi or Iced Tea and a caramel bar. I love Max's Caramel Bar, it's deliciously sweet!

Potato Salad PhP 49

I was not able to taste my dad's order of potato salad but it looks like it had a little too much mayo on it, don't you think so?

There goes my quick post showing a brand that truly belongs to Filipinos. Time for a quick shower because we are going to attend to another children's party. #babyMartinez is so busy socializing these days lol

Max's Restaurant has branches in SM City North Edsa and Robinsons Magnolia.
