Book & Borders Cafe by Chef Edward Mateo Tomas Morato Quezon City | Restaurant Review

Last Saturday, while waiting for DH to arrive from the office, my mom, sister and I together with the birthday girl had brunch at this newly opened cafe called Book & Borders Cafe Creations by: Chef Edward Mateo along Tomas Morato Ave., Quezon City.

Iced Mocha 16oz. Php 170

The restaurant was packed when we arrived. The tables and chairs were spaced too closely together, I had a hard time walking to our table. We were seated at the side near a wall filled with books. Anyway, I was so happy I found several Archie Comics.

Book & Borders Cafe frozen milk ball

I ordered a glass of 16 oz. Iced Mocha with frozen milk balls. It was so yummy! It's like shaved iced, only this one has flavor. I ended up eating the milk balls like halo halo.

Truffle Pasta Php 230

Another winner is the Truffle Pasta. The truffle oil was not too intimidating to taste, it was just right. Everybody loved it, including my daughter.

Clubhouse Sandwich Php 210

Except for the mayo dressing which was too sweet to taste, Book & Borders Cafe's Clubhouse Sandwich was not bad at all. In fact, there's a generous serving of ingredients like egg, tomatoes, cucumber, lettuce, cheese bacon and ham. It was very filling. And we all loved the chips included with this set.

Cappuccino Php 125

My sister ordered a cup of Cappuccino. It was served on a wooden tray with spoon over a napkin on the side... Instagram worthy!
