Henann Resort Alona Beach Bohol | Hotel Review

Every year, we travel to different places to celebrate the coming New Year. Our choice last year was Bohol, the home of the iconic Chocolate Hills. It has been three months since we came back home from our vacation but my daughter still can't stop talking about returning back to Henann Resort.

Henann Resort is the largest resort (6.5 hectare with 125 meter beachfront) located along the stretch of Alona Beach, Panglao Island, Bohol. It boasts of 400 well-appointed rooms and 12 Pool Villas, 3 Swimming Pools, Pool Bars, Gym and Fitness center, and Kai Spa.

As with any other hotels, the check-in time is 3:00PM. Since we arrived before noon, our room was not yet ready. We left our luggage at the Concierge area and went out for lunch.

DH booked two connecting rooms directly with the hotel as early as September. We were able to get an Early Bird Promo for Superpeak season (December 26, 2015- January 3, 2016) at Php 6,375 per (Superior) room per night. My parents and sister stayed in another room (Queen and Single-size bed) at Php 6,891. Inclusive of Complimentary Buffet Breakfast at Coral/Sea Breeze Cafe. The rates quoted were exclusive of 12% tax.

The rooms are Filipino-inspired with neutral tones from light to dark wood and turquoise accents that reflect the sea for a calming and airy atmosphere. Each Superior room has total area of 35sqm. and has a balcony with outdoor dinette set.

Henann Bohol | Breakfast at Sea Breeze Cafe

Breakfast is served at either Sea Breeze Cafe or Coral Cafe. The former is located farther down the beach while the latter is within the hotel.

Whichever venue you choose, both offers the same viands. Oh, Sea Breeze Cafe is air conditioned while Coral Cafe is Al fresco.

We have been to a lot of hotels but I have never seen my daughter as happy and excited as she was while we were staying at Henann Resort. She enjoyed the swimming pools the most. It was one of the best memories she had. We will definitely be back!
