During one of our family food trips, we accidentally stumbled upon Ninak Restaurant- an Asian fusion restaurant located at Kapitolyo, Pasig. Truth be told, we were looking for Cow and Chicken Modern Brunch Dining restaurant but we already circled around United St. (United Alley - 3rd St. - 1st St.) twice and yet we had no luck in finding it... meeeh!
In my husband's frustration, he parked the car at the first restaurant he saw with a vacant parking space and that's how we ended up in Ninak, that's Kanin spelled backwards if you hadn't notice ; p
Pinakbet Php 200
I seldom cook Filipino dishes at home so every time we are in a Filipino restaurant, we almost always order Pinakbet when we spot it on the menu. Aside from a whole lot of veggies, there's crunchy pork and garlic on top... so yummy!
Laing Php 210
Another hit that we ordered from Ninak was Laing. You see, I am not from Bicol (my husband is) but I loved Laing long before I met my husband. My love affair with Laing started even before I met him lol I give my thumbs up on this dish!
Phad Thai Php 320
Other dishes that we have tried were Lamb Massaman Curry, just because I love lamb. And Phad Thai because I am into all kinds of noodles these day ; )

When we came in the restaurant, it was already way past lunch. Most of the diners were already about to finish their lunch or were asking for their bill. And yet, the service was so slow that day. To prove my point, my little girl even asked me to take some photos of her instead to while away time. I posted a photo of my daughter over at Instagram (@xoxoMrsMartinez). The restaurant definitely needs an improvement in that area.
Ninak is located at Unit 101 Seven East Capitol Building, East Capitol Drive, Sta. Rosa St., Kapitolyo, Pasig City For reservation, please call 655 6902.
