Mala Tang HK Roasting And Noodle House | Restaurant Review

I love Roasted Duck!

Luckily, I don't have to fly out to Hong Kong to taste authentic Cantonese style BBQ meat deli. There are a lot of restaurants sprouting in my area and one of them is Mala Tang HK Roasting and Noodle House along A. Mabini, San Juan.

Mala Tang HK Roasting and Noodle House | Mala Tang Platter

Mala Tang Roast Platter Php 950

As I was falling in line to order, I noticed one of the postings on the wall- the Roast Platter. The huge platter includes Roasted Duck, White Chicken, Char Siew, Roasted Pork and Seaweeds. DH and I wanted to taste a little bit of everything, the platter was just what we wanted. One order, please!

Seaweeds

The Roasted Duck and the rest of the BBQ meat didn't disappoint. Cravings satisfied! However, half of the Seaweeds is not as crunchy as the rest.

You can order those items that I have mentioned above individually but we decided against it as it will be more expensive.

I give this order of Salt & Pepper Spareribs my two thumbs up! May I request for more crunchy garlic next time?

Mala Tang | Ngo Hiong

Ngo Hiong Roll Php 160

Aside from Ngo Hiong and Siomai, we also ordered Braised Egg (Php 25/piece). Overall, we had a filling lunch.

I think we managed to burn all the calories by doing some grocery shopping and walking around Greenhills Shopping Center right after lunch ; p

Siomai 4pcs. Php 95

Just a quick note:

We went there on a Sunday at around 11 am. There were already a lot of diners waiting in line and occupying the tables on the ground floor even if the restaurant is technically not yet open. It opens at 11:30am. You can start to fall in line and one of the staff will take your order.

We decide to occupy one of the tables on the second level where it was more spacious but it was hard to call the attention of the staff as we have found out later. You have to go down to call them for drinking water, follow up on your food, bill, etc.

Parking is limited, only 3 cars can occupy the space in front of the restaurant.

Mala Tang HK Roasting and Noodle House (formerly Hot Pot) is located at 207 Mabini Street, San Juan, Metro Manila. For reservations and more information, please call 503 3550 or 0917 878 6075.
