Our Christmas break came early this year. It only means one thing, there will be more bonding moments to share with my adorable daughter especially during our favorite time of the day- Breakfast.

Even during school days, I see to it that my daughter eats breakfast before going to school. I wake up early to prepare her food to eat at home and snacks to bring to school every single day. I make sure to load her baon with nutritious food to keep her going through her entire morning.

Today is no different. As I rummage through the frozen food inside the fridge, I find a frozen pack of US Hash Browns for breakfast.

There is a wide variety of U.S frozen potato products in the Philippine market today. Straight cut fries is only just the beginning. There are specialty cuts ideal as modern ingredients in creative meals. Some are batter-coated potatoes that extend holding times (e.g. lattice/basket weave cuts and loop/curly fries) while others are individually quick frozen (IQF) ones like hash browns and slices.

Did you know that not all frozen potato products are created equal? Quality starts with premium U.S. grown potatoes. Those U.S potatoes destined for processing must meet stringent standards for high "solids" and low sugar content. Those qualities mentioned are suitable for creating frozen potato products with desirable appearance, taste and texture. Cheesy U.S. Potato Casserole



My daughter is one picky eater. I try to make each dish exciting for her to eat. Let me share with you what we had for breakfast earlier today- Cheesy U.S. Potato Casserole.



What You Need:

  • 2 pcs. US Hash Browns mashed
  • Cheese grated

Directions:
  1. Place mashed hash browns in a baking dish
  2. Mix in grated cheese
  3. Top with more grated cheese
  4. Baked in preheated oven until golden and bubbly
  5. Serve hot



When my daughter woke up and peeked in the dining area, she was delighted to see one of her favorite food served on our breakfast nook.



The Cheesy U.S. Potato Casserole was gooey yet tasty. It was love in every bite. Thanks to the lock in flavor and nutrients of fresh U.S. potatoes. In her eyes, I am the best mom in the world!
