I always prepare easy to cook meals for my family. As a busy mom, my day is spent mostly doing household chores and taking care of my family's need. When it comes to cooking, I only have a few minutes to spare. My dinner recipes are usually quick and easy dishes.
I cook pasta once a week. What I love about pasta is that it only takes 10 minutes to cook and I can just literally throw in all the ingredients in the pan. It's so simple to prepare and I know my family will enjoy every time this savory dish is served.
Salmon Pasta in Creamy White Sauce
To tweak my pasta from the usual bacon topping, I use salmon as my main ingredient this time around. We love salmon because it is rich in Omega-3 Fatty Acids which helps in protecting against heart disease. That said, I am sharing an easy to follow salmon pasta recipe for you and your family...
Salmon Pasta in Creamy White Sauce | Ingredients:
- SeaKing Wild Alaskan Keta Salmon Chunks 500g
- Roasted Garlic Parmesan white Sauce 16oz
- Champignons Pieces and Stems 284g
- Penne Rigate 250g
- Salt & Pepper to taste
- Butter (approximately 2 slices)
- Spring onions (sliced)
- Parmesan Cheese (optional)
Salmon Pasta in Creamy White Sauce | Directions:
- Cook pasta as directed (al dente)
- In a pan, saute spring onions in butter
- Add SeaKing Wild Alaskan Keta Salmon Chunks and toss until golden (see photo above)
- Add a dash of salt & pepper to taste
- Remove and set aside the whole chunks and let the salmon flakes remain in the pan
- Mix in Champignons and Roasted Garlic Parmesan White Sauce
- Add Penne Rigate in the pan
- Add SeaKing Wild Alaskan Keta Salmon Chunks on top
- Serve and enjoy!
