Secret to Beauty in Bloom this Summer

Yesterday, I attended a birthday party and came up with this Beauty in Bloom look, prefect for summer. My makeup was light and fresh. I only highlighted what is needed and toned down everything else.

To get Beauty in Bloom look:

Eyes

FreshLook ColorBlends in Brilliant Blue

I have been using FreshLook for as long as I can remember. It is my favorite brand when it comes to contact lenses. It does not sting nor dry my eyes even after wearing it for long hours.

Aside from Brilliant Blue, FreshLook ColorBlends offers a wide variety of colors to choose from like Sterling Gray, Gemstone Green and Honey. If you want just a subtle change in eye color, then you can go for the following colors- True Sapphire, Gray, Blue, Green, Pure Hazel, Brown, Amethyst and Turquoise.

Fantastic Color Eyes in Rose Garden

I didn't apply any eyeliner because I want to highlight the color of my eyes. I applied Etude House Fantastic Color Eyes in Rose Garden instead. First, I applied Juliette all over my lid then Antique Touch at the outer corner V to lift up my eyes. After blending well, I applied Honey Bouquet on my brow bone. Voila!

Lips

For my lips, I applied my newly purchased lip color from L'Oreal Paris Color Riche Electric Lip in Glamor Fuchsia. The lipstick's color is so intense with an electrifying shade of pink. It was more pinkish than purplish. It was not the color I had in mind but I am totally in love with it. This is a great alternative to Etude House Pencil 101 #19.

I was afraid the matte finish would dry my lips so I prepped my lips with Burt's Bees Tinted Lip Balm- Pink Blossom. I found out today that lip balm application was not really necessary because it did not dry nor chap my lips, in fact, it even glides perfectly well during application.

Battle of Fuchsia

Etude House Pencil 101 #19 VS L'Oreal Paris Color Riche Electric Lip in Glamor Fuchsia

When compared, it looks like Etude House Pencil 101 #19 is more purplish and L'Oreal Paris Color Riche Electric Lip in Glamor Fuchsia is more pinkish. I like them both and will use them alternately if I wanted to look blooming for a day ; )

How do you like my look?
