My last food blog was over a week ago. I miss food especially now that I am on South Beach Diet. I have not eaten rice/bread for the past several days and it's killing me... argh! I have to lose weight if I want to stay healthy and lower down my cholesterol level. Let's see how long I can keep this up. In the mean time, here's a late post on what transpired last Father's Day.
Set A Miso Ramen & Gyoza Php 335 |
We were supposed to eat at a different restaurant but my family and I ended up having lunch at a mini grocery-cum-Japanese restaurant called Konbini Store Tokyo Market along Connecticut St. in Greenhills. Every other restaurant we went to were either full and can't accommodate diners anymore or if we found a vacant table, we were told that it was already reserved huhu
Gyoza 5 pcs |
Konbini Store is a pay-as-you-order restaurant with the cashier located at the far end of the store adjacent to the counter where you place your order.
Since all the other tables and chair were already occupied by families, we don't have a choice but to take a spot on a bar like table with stool chairs.
DH ordered Set A consisting of Miso Ramen with 5 pcs. of Gyoza while I had 6 pcs. of Ebi Tmpura... yummy! I miss fried food hehe
Tempura Ebi 6 pcs. Php 390 |
Yakitori Momo 6 Sticks Php 320 |
Karaage Spicy 6pcs. Php 285 |
California Rolls 6 pcs. Php 188 |
On my next visit, I will order the Super California Roll because each roll has an additional Unagi slice on top, all my favorite ingredients in one roll!
Konbini Store Tokyo Market is located at 57 Connecticut St., Northeast Greenhills, San Juan. You can call 722 4263 for inquiries and reservations.
