IHOP Bonifacio Global City | Restaurant Review

This is another Saturdate entry with my little princess! But unlike the week before where we had good food and a pleasant experience at Green Pigs' Kitchen, it was the opposite at IHOP BGC. The restaurant was not even my first choice, I wanted to try out Applebee's (located in the same building) but it was closed for a function ; (

Strawberry Banana Pancake Php 195

First, there was no waffle available. Second, it took a long time for our orders to arrive. Mind you, we only ordered two items from the menu- a salad and a pancake.

After several follow-ups,  our orders finally arrived. The presentation of the pancake did not look appetizing at all. See second photo. The staff should not have served the pancake on our table. Just take a look at the melted whipped cream. You can hardly see the strawberries and bananas.

A waitress gave us an extra whipped cream to compensate for the lack of quality control in their kitchen. Another staff offered to replace our order and I said yes. See first photo. It was so much better than the first one.

Here are the 4 IHOP syrups available for pancakes/waffles- Original, Blueberry, Strawberry and Butter Pecan.

My favorite is Butter Pecan syrup. I love its distinct taste, perfect for our pancakes!

Grilled Chicken Salad Php 295

No matter what angle I shoot, the salad looks boring. Don't you think so? There was also too much dressing. But there's a generous serving of Parmesan Cheese so the humdrum presentation didn't matter anymore. Plus, I like the grilled chicken and the fresh veggies.

I told you there was too much dressing on my plate

Have you tried IHOP? How was your experience?
