Confessions of a Lipstick Addict
Take the case of these nude lippies, I have acquired them one after
the other. I still have more shades in my drawer that I have not dug up.
Anyway, I decided to share some of the MLBB swatches for your reference.
With over a dozen lipsticks in my drawer, I can definitely say that I
am a certified lipstick addict! I am not an impulsive buyer but when it
comes to lipsticks, I would often grab one or two (on a whim) and
sometimes even more!

Avon Perfectly Matte in Pure Pink (P002)
Wearing matte lipstick has its downside- dry and chapped lips after application. It's a challenge to reapply this lipstick, either you have to brush all the dry skin off first or apply a generous amount of lip balm prior to application.
Inglot Lipstick Matte in 415 | Lip Swatch
The perfect opaque super matte lipstick for any occasion. Vitamin E, macadamia oil, and avocado oil moisturize and nourish the lips. Long lasting formula provides the ideal matte, smooth, even finish.
This Inglot Lipstick Matte in 415 is one of my favorite shade because it's pink and beige at the same time. I apply this alone or on top of my other lipsticks that have darker shades. This lipstick does the trick of toning down the shade of my other lipsticks if I want to emphasize my eye makeup or my rosy cheeks.
I have written a thorough review of Inglot Lipstick Matte in 415 a few months back and you might want to check it out.
Maybelline Color Sensational Creamy Matte in Touch of Spice (660) | Lip Swatch
Go creamy matte for bold impact! A burst of statement-making color meets a surge of creamy texture.
Maybelline Color Sensational Creamy Matte in Touch of Spice looks Marsala-ish (Pantone of the Year 2015) on me. This shade is one of the best sellers, I need to visit several stores before I got my hands on this one. I find it a bit dark though for my skin tone so I don't use it as often as the rest of the nude lipsticks that I have.
Please do check out the Asian Makeup tutorial I wrote awhile back ; )
Maybelline ColorShow in Nude Mocha (305)
I can't believe Maybelline came out with lipsticks as low as Php 165 each. Yes, these last two Maybelline ColorShow lipsticks are really inexpensive. The colors are very pigmented and its creamy texture adds moisture to your lips... say goodbye to chapped lips!
Maybelline ColorShow in Nude Mocha comes out as a shade of Terrracotta- a bit of orange and red at the same time, on my lips. It's not one of my favorite shades so I usually apply another lipstick on top of it whenever I wear it.
Maybelline ColorShow in True Toffee (301)
I am partial to light colored lipstick so if I am going to choose between the last two shades, I will give my thumbs-up to True Toffee! I think among the five lipsticks I have featured here, this one is the perfect shade of MLBB for my skin tone. It's not too dark and not too light. I love the hint of color, not bad for only Php 165!
