I know that there's a newly opened Benefit Cosmetics at Robinsons Magnolia which is nearer but I opted to go to its Shangri-La Plaza Mall counter as it was one of the first branches here in the Philippines. I am right for trusting my instinct because the Benebabe that waxed my eyebrow is working with the UK company for 6 years and counting. I was happy with the result. Just imagine no eyebrow shaving for a month, that's one less step to prettifying oneself!

While waiting for the wax to cool down for a painless application, Amy drew a pattern on my brows (see photo below). I was a bit worried that the brows might be too thick but the result came out just about the right size (see first photo).
I have sensitive skin so the skin around my brows were red right after the procedure. Amy immediately applied a cooling gel to help rid of the swelling. True enough the swelling subsided after a few hours. I was only allowed to wash my face with soap and water after 3 hours. And that was it!

The entire Brow Wax procedure was done in less than 15 minutes including the eyebrow makeup application---> You don't expect me to walk around the mall NAKED (read: without drawing my eyebrows ; p ).
I took this photo just days after the brow wax procedure. Mr brows appeared fuller and more balanced in terms of size. I especially like the arch pattern, it's so much more pantay than before.
Update: Yesterday, I just shaved for the first time since I had my brows waxed last May 1st. I was shave-free for one whole month... yes!
