Yumi Promenade Greenhills | Restaurant Review

DH and I were looking for a new restaurant to try in Promenade 2 in Greenhills Shopping Center when he spotted a signage of Yumi Japanese Restaurant as we got out of the elevator on the second floor (cinema level).

complimentary sushi from Yumi

Complimentary sushi were served to us a few minutes after we placed out orders. It's actually kani shredded and cut into smaller pieces. What a cute surprise and tasty too!

Sake Togarashi Sashimi PhP 275

It was a nice change to see slices of salmon instead of tiny cubes in this order of spicy salmon.

Tamago Sashimi PhP 135

I like Yumi's version of Tamago, not too sweet.

Sake Sushi PhP 125

Gyudon PhP 240

I ordered a bowl of gyudon. Yumi didn't scrimp on the ingredients, there's a lot of beef for two people. You just need to order another rice to go with it.

US Tenderloin Bento Box PhP 450

What's included in US Tenderloin Bento Box aside from rice and cabbage salad:

2 pieces of Gyoza

thick slices of salmon and tuna

of course, tender and juicy US Tenderloin

Since the restaurant is located at the mezzanine floor, the ceiling is a bit low. I felt like I was cramped inside a shoe box or maybe because it was just dark. Anyway, the food is great and price-wise, it was pretty reasonable. I will surely be back with my parents next time around.

Yumi Japanese Restaurant is located at Unit 202 Mezzanine Area, Greenhills Promenade 2, Greenhills Shopping Center, San Juan with contact number 7856932.
