I anticipated the opening of The Bunny Baker Cafe & Cake Studio last year. I was hoping that it would open just in time before my daughter's birthday. Sadly, it didn't. I ended up ordering a birthday cake at our all time favorite cake supplier, Hizon's.
The store opened just in time for the holidays. It was the first thing that came to mind while I was thinking of something special to give to our relatives. I bought several boxes of cupcakes and hurriedly left to avoid the horrific Christmas traffic.
Fast forward to my mom's birthday last Monday, I suggested the cafe and I was really glad she agreed to it. Aside from checking out the food, I really wanted to go back because the cafe is overloaded with cuteness!

Whenever I am out with my little girl, the couch is always our preferred seating area. I am so happy we were able to grab a table with a couch on one side. That way, I can feel safe that she will not fall off because she is in between two adults. In this case, she is in between her gwakong and gwama.

For a change, dad ordered something without rice- FrankenBeans. It's Hungarian sausage paired with slow-cooked beans. It's nothing spicy but there's a hint of Mexican flavor. It's a bit sweet to taste but most importantly, my dad ate it with gusto. He even ordered an extra Butter Toast (Php 50) on the side. He said that's how Mexican cowboys eat back in those days!
If you like Hungarian Sausage but do not like the way the cowboys eat it, you can order Hungarian Sausage, Garlic Rice and Two Eggs instead for only Php 295.

My mom and I were supposed to share an order of Double Beer Blackened Pork Chops (Php 475), good thing I decided to order another item on the menu because I find it quite salty. I only tasted a few slices and can't tolerate the saltiness. I like the grill marks though.

I took this photo of Mozzarella cheese oozing out of my burger as I sliced it into half. All I can say is that it is deliciously gooey! With its price, I was hoping to find generous mushroom topping because 4 pieces was so bitin!

I tasted several ice cream flavors and ended up choosing Strawberry Milk for my daughter who loves anything pink and Serenitea Okinawa. These are great flavors that I highly recommend for first timers who will visit the cafe.

Since it's my mom's birthday, The Bunny Baker gave a complimentary Banana Speculoos cupcake. It's a banana cupcake with Speculoos icing on top!
My little girl was practicing her blowing skills for the past few days. Her practice paid off because she was able to put out the light on the candle with one blow... yey!

I will definitely go back to taste The Bunny Baker's The Skilletor. I want to try if it tastes as good as it looks in the photos on the Facebook page.
