I can hardly recall a single Valentine's date in our married life. Maybe because DH believes that Valentine's Day is just another marketing ploy of establishments to get your hard-earned peso. But times are a-changin' hahaha

Earlier today, after dropping our daughter off to school, DH and I went to Mario's Restaurant along Tomas Morato, Quezon City for breakfast. I am looking forward to this day because we haven't had a chance to go out on a date in a long time. It's nice to just have a chance to be with just each other once in a while.

Batangas Beef Tapa Php 265

Mario's Breakfast menu has 2 categories- The Filipino Fare and The International. DH, naturally, went for Mario's Grand Slam-  a mix of pancakes, eggs, bacon and sausage. I went for my favorite- Batangas Beef Tapa. Yes, I really am very predictable like that.

2  cups of Cafe Latte (Php 130@), please?!

Breakfast platter at Mario's does not come with a cup of brewed coffee. We ordered Cafe Latte each. The coffee is refillable. I had mine with an extra milk on the side ; ) I like a creamy coffee.
