Burt's Bees PH | Be a True Force of Nature

I am an avid user of Burt's Bees ever since I discovered the brand in one of my travels out of the country. Since becoming a mom, my love for the brand is now happily shared with my daughter who uses the Burt's Bees Baby line. So, when I received an invitation from them to an intimate gathering in celebration of International Women's month, I couldn't say no.

The event was held last March 23, 2018 at Burt's Bees Concept Store located at the second level, Estancia Mall. I was one of the first attendees so I was able to have my picture taken with some of the best selling products from the brand.

Burt's Bees has collaborated with a group of inspiring women to bring out the true forces of nature within us. The campaign's main focus is on women entrepreneurs who not only advocate taking care of themselves, but also simultaneously promotes the improvement of our planet's health and being.

Reese Fernandez-Ruiz is a multi-hyphenated woman with being a co-founder Rags2Riches and an exceptional social entrepreneur; Bianca King initiated an advocacy on healthy-living and has become a fitness entrepreneur; Dzi Gervacio is an ultimate volleyball player who has been dubbed as the "Queen of Jump Serve"; and Denise Go-Ochoa is a woman who has transcended natural beauty through her makeup techniques. 

Burt's Bees shines the spotlight on naturally beautiful, real, confident women and their journey of expressing their true selves through their work and how they aspire to lead thoughtful and purposeful lives.

It was a very insightful event as these women candidly shared their stories as to what urge them to pursue their passions and also how they were able to nurture the people that surrounds them as well.

It was also fun catching up with old friends in the blogging industry who I have not seen in such a long time. I hope to attend more events this year so I can impart with you the latest happenings around the metro!
