I look into my feed and I found several celebrities (both local and international) collaborating with well-known makeup brands. It seems that it's the trend right now. Just recently, Gigi Hadid launched a limited makeup collection together with Maybelline NY. And I just have to get it!

When I was at the Maybelline counter, I don't have any idea which ones to grab first from Gigi Hadid's Coast to Coast Makeup Collections. The gracious SA suggested several beauty products that suit my skin tone. She also let me play (read: swatch) with the makeup collection available locally. I am not sure if the full collection is readily available in the Philippines though.

From what I read, there are a total of three collections under Gigi Hadid x Maybelline- East Coast Glam Makeup, West Coast Glow Makeup and Jetsetter Travel Makeup Palette.

In this video, I applied two products from Gigi Hadid x Maybelline East Coast Glam Look collection. Watch the video as I draw my eyebrows using the Brow Pencil and apply the Matte lipstick effortlessly.

Gigi Hadid Matte Lipstick | MCCALL (East Coast) 3.9g

There are a total of 6 lipstick shades available namely TAURA, ERIN, MCCALL, AUSTYN, KHAIR and LANI. These lipsticks are in the shades of neutral, beige and golden brown. These are all the shades that I really love right now but I have to test the product first if it will not leave my lips dry... it didn't! MCCALLis the perfect shade for me when I want to go for the chic and sophisticated look. I love that the lipstick glides on my lips without drying it. On the downside, it doesn't last that long and needs reapplication. Price at Php 349.

Good news! Gigi Hadid x Maybelline Lipliners will be available this December for only Php 249.

Gigi Hadid Brow Pencil | Dark Brown (East Coast) 0.2g

I chose Dark Brown over Brown mainly because Dark Brown is closer to the shade I am using now for my eyebrows. It's pigmented however, it can be easily erased if you have oily skin. The pointy tip is slanted for easier application. Price at Php 349.

I really didn't expect to love Gigi Hadid x Maybelline collection but I did! I am looking forward to buying the Limited Jetsetter Palette (Php 1,899) this month. Who knows I might get inspired (yet again!) to make another video tutorial ; p
