Last weekend, we went around Quezon City to scout for a new restaurant. I was looking forward to dine in Livestock when DH spotted El Cangrejo Crab, Seafood and Steak Bistro located at the far end of Jardin de Zenaida compound in Quezon City.

The restaurant was empty when we came in. We had the place all to ourselves the entire night. My little girl was able to explore (read: run around) the restaurant. She even befriended some of the staff.

Anyway, we ordered a Surf N' Turf for two. It's basically an all-you-can-eat steak and crab and is available only for dinner every Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from 6pm to 10pm. Price is reasonable for only PhP 750 per pax (10% service charge included).

We started with a bowl of roasted pumpkin soup (included in the Surf n' Turf dinner). Steaks and crabs will be cooked upon order. The steak's seasoning mix is very tasty and a bit sweet too.The crabs were medium-sized. You can dip it in melted butter or vinegar. I missed eating crabs so I really indulged in it. I think we had two or three plates of crabs hehe

I ordered a bowl of New Zealand Clam Chowder for the little one but lately she is very picky when it comes to food. I don't know if she has loss her appetite due to teething or she just does not like the food. She only ate the carrots that she saw on my plate.

Since we were the only diners, the service was fast and very efficient. We will surely be back to try out the other entrees found on the menu.
